Since 2021, Presto has run an apprenticeship scheme in partnership with Oxfordshire Advanced Skills (OAS) at Culham Campus, Oxfordshire.
All apprentices undertake a 3-year apprenticeship to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Machining, whilst completing a mixture of training on the job and theoretical at OAS.
Presto Engineering are seeking a candidate who is keen to develop further and utilise this opportunity to also become proficient in CAD/CAM programming and producing tooling for production jobs.
The role will primarily involve setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machining centres for a variety of high-end production work.
Minimum requirement of 5 GCSEs (including English, Maths and a Science) Grade 4+ or above (grade C equivalent). Previous engineering experience desired but not required.
Presto Engineering will also commit to supporting the successful candidate through the OAS Apprenticeship Programme.
