This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee CNC Engineer Apprentice to start their career in a well established, modern engineering company. As a Trainee CNC Engineer Apprentice at Holm Engineering Ltd you will get hands-on experience of all aspects of the following:
We are a small company with only 7 team members so you really need to be able to work well in a small and friendly team.
The 1st year of your training will be full time at Oxfordshire Advanced Skills Culham (https://www.oas.ukaea.uk) and in the holidays, you will return to Holm to work onsite.
Must be computer literate, a practical individual who is motivated and a team player who is willing to be flexible in the workplace as we are a small team.
Must be able to work as part of a team, be practical, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be motivated. You must also like problem solving & be committed to completing your 4 year apprenticeship.
Must have 5 GCSE’s as a minimum Grade 4+, C and above including Maths, English and a Science subject.
The successful apprentice will work towards the possibility of a full time position within the business on completion of their apprenticeship.
