They are seeking a dedicated Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join their team at WJW Engineering LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and repair services to clients. As well as using your skills for machinery refurbishment and repairs in our workshop. You will be crucial in maintaining the functionality of machinery and equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions promptly.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing duties.
Requirements
- Strong interest in mechanical components with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Drivers licence due to the location of the site.
Qualifications
5 GCSEs grades 9-4 / A*- C (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language or English Literature.
