Why apprenticeships?

Apprenticeships are an invaluable tool for recruiting new talent and developing your existing workforce.

With role-specific learning and tailored on-the-job training, apprentices will help you build a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce, helping your business to succeed.

This Level 4 Automation & Controls Apprenticeship will help you develop the next generation of engineers to support the future skills needs of your business, by:

  • Upskilling your current employees and unlocking their potential
  • Addressing skills shortages and filling key gaps in your business
  • Increasing employee satisfaction, motivation and loyalty, leading to lower staff turnover
  • Bringing a fresh perspective and new skills

If you're a levy payer, you can use the apprenticeship levy to fund L4 apprenticeships. If your organisation doesn't currently pay the levy, government subsidies are available meaning you will only be required to invest 5% towards the training costs.

Why OAS?

The training centre boasts world-class learning facilities which house some of the UK’s most advanced equipment covering a wide range of engineering and technology disciplines.

Not only will apprentices have access to state-of-the-art facilities but they will be taught by experts within manufacturing technology and training and will have access to valuable industry links to help progress their careers further.

What will students learn

Learn from the best.
