TRAVELLING TO OAS

OAS IS BASED AT CULHAM CAMPUS IN OXFORDSHIRE

ARRIVING AT CULHAM CAMPUS

As OAS is on a secure site, please report to the reception building at the main entrance to the Culham Campus site. All visitors will need to present photo ID (for example a driving licence or passport). You will then be issued with a security pass and directed to the OAS building.

BY BUS

From Abingdon or Oxford (Cowley)

From Didcot

The 95 bus service assists site users with travel between Didcot and Culham Campus: https://www.oxfordbus.co.uk/services/THTR/95

 

BY TRAIN

Culham Campus is a short walk from Culham Station, which is served by Great Western Railways trains with links to London, the southwest, west and West Midlands of England and most of Wales.

Facilities at Culham Station include secure cycle parking and a WebCIS (customer information system) giving visual real-time train information to both platforms. Taxis can usually be found outside the concourse at Didcot Parkway. Please note that there is no taxi stand at Culham.

Add PLUSBUS to your train ticket for unlimited bus travel around town, at the start, finish, or both ends of your train journey.

BY CAR

Culham Campus, OX14 3DB, is located off the A415 east of Abingdon and within easy access to the A34 and M40.

Parking

OAS has its own car park which has space for visitors. Turn left at the roundabout immediately after the OAS building for access to the car park. Learners can apply for a parking permit to be able to drive to the centre whilst training with us.

Designated accessible parking spaces with a low kerb are located close to the front entrance of the OAS building.

Electric vehicle charging points (BP Pulse) are available at the front of the building and in the rear car park.

 

BY BIKE

Cyclists are encouraged to use the cyclepath, which runs along the A415 between Culham village, past Culham Campus and on to Berinsfield. Cyclists can also arrive by train.

Culham is about 80 minutes by car or taxi drive from London Heathrow, 100 minutes from Birmingham International and 110 minutes from London Gatwick Airports.
